中秋晚会 Mid-Autumn Festival Evening

活动的前一天也就是星期二，地球先生找我们救命。
地球先生，不好意思，之前没答应你是因为以为会花很长时间在阅读报告上……。
我和怡文临时决定要再挑过灯谜的题目，所以忙到很迟。（其实忙到很迟是因为学校网速太慢的关系啦……T_T）

Mr The Earth has asked for our aid the day before the Mid-Autumn Festival Evening~ Actually he did ask us about it last week but we thought that we were supposed to be very busy so we didnt give him our consent~ Sorry yar Mr The Earth... Cuz i never expect myself to complete the assignment for Modern Chinese Literature in one night~ (But i did it... Haha)

And Yi Wen and i have decided to pick out the questions for chinese riddle once more. (That's why we stayed until so late! Well... It was owing to our hostel's super fast net speed too... You guys all know wat i'm talking about ryte?!)

Well... I dont wanna elaborate that much on his particulars...
Anyway do you guys know about the story of Narsissus?

Well the term "narcissist" is derived from the Greek myth of Narcissus... Narcissus was a handsome Greek youth who rejected the desperate advances of the nymph Echo... As punishment, he was doomed to fall in love with his own reflection in a pool of water. At the end of the story, he pined away and changed into the flower that bears his name, the narcissus...

纳西斯是希腊神话里因自恋水中的美影以致憔悴而死，化为水仙花的美少男。哈哈，美少年当然人人都爱啊~山谷女神（Echo，意即回音）就深深地爱恋着纳西斯……宙斯（Zeus）的妻子赫拉（Hera）因妒嫉Echo的美貌而令她只能重复别人刚刚说过的话（果然最毒妇人心啊……）

纳西斯因此而抛弃了Echo……复仇女神厄里斯（Eris）为了报复纳西斯的绝情，用诅咒使纳西斯最后死于自己的美丽~Narcissist（自恋狂）一字就是由此而来的~意指喜欢自我陶醉之人~
